I was allocated the perfect seat on my flight to Siem Reap today. I was last to board, and when I got to row 30, I saw a morbidly obese couple sitting in seats D and F. I was in E. I just looked at the tiny space in between their two fat arses and laughed. Luckily there was a seat on the opposite aisle spare so I told them I'd sit there so they could have more room. Instantly I thought that probably sounded offensive, but then when I realised they were French I didn't give a shit. They should have had to buy the third seat given their thighs spread into it. I was also surprised they didn't separate them to differing sides of the plane for balance issues. The hilarious part was she was wearing a Fitbit, which was cutting off the circulation to her wrist.
So far I love Cambodia!  And that has nothing at all to do with the $0.50 beer and $3 cocktails 😏. When I arrived I took a walk to the old market. I would have liked to have spent longer wandering around but they are incredibly pushy and follow you around which I don't like. I had some lunch (traditional Amok curry) which was yummy. Then I went back to my hotel, which is lovely, and relaxed by the pool for the rest of the afternoon. The heat here is insane so a hotel with a pool is a must.
This evening I went to the night market and was again chased around by a chorus of 'lady you buy something'. It's ironic because if they left me alone to browse I would actually buy stuff! I grabbed a long skirt and a tshirt for the temples tomorrow and also bought some placemats and coasters for the flat. Then I hot footed it to the bar. Job done. After enjoying a 50 cent beer I went to a nearby restaurant called
for dinner and had traditional Lok Lak, which is stir fried beef marinated in lots of good tasting shit! After that i hit some bars before calling it a night around 10pm. I have a 430 start for Angkor Wat tomorrow to see the sunrise!

Hilarious...you really have a thing about the French. You didn't put the name of the Restaurant in your text. Enjoy the sunrise XX Dad
