Travel Itinerary

When I was made redundant from my job earlier this year, there was no doubt in my mind that I would take some time out to go travelling. This kind of opportunity doesn’t happen often (at least I hope not) and I am fortunate enough to be in a position where there is no financial pressure to find another job straight away. The only hard decision was deciding where I wanted to go. Ultimately it came down to South America or Asia. Whilst speaking the language would have made the former an easier option, the diversity of cultures in Asia was a bigger draw. Ok, that’s bollocks, I wanted me some thai food and didn’t fancy being kidnapped and sold as a sex slave for a Colombian drug lord.

So, my adventure will begin on Monday 13th February and the itinerary will be as follows:

13th – 17th Feb: Singapore
17th – 19th Feb: Penang, Malaysia
